The Russian war in Ukraine made Ukraine declare martial law which means that every man needs to stay and fight (men ages 18 to 60).
In South Korea, all male citizens are required to perform compulsory military service for a minimum amount of time (1-3 years)
Hansoo joined the compulsory military service one year ago.
In this context, we asked Hansoo what does he think about fact that the service is mandatory? But also if he thinks that it should be mandatory in the other countries and how it could help men if a war happens in their country?
